The insanely gorgeous and incredibly stylish Carine Roitfeld has just come out with a new book, Irreverant, and I thought it would be a great time to post some amazing pictures of her.

I think that she is such a style icon! Personally, I am inspired, most of all, by her confidence. She is a muse to Tom Ford and a mother of two......must be nice! No matter her age, she is still true to her edgy style, and I admire that!

For day, she tends to wear body con, razor sharp clothes with THE most amazing, often voluminous fur coats! For night, black, black and more black......very French! It is sort the sophisticated rocker look that I love!

After ten years at French Vogue, she is now exploring 'personal projects.' Can't wait to see what is next!

Last week I posted her stunning debut Fall/Winter 2011 Collection here. Every piece is insanely gorgeous and the styling is perfection, so I wondered........who is behind this incredible line? Who is Ulyana Sergeenko?

Well here she is, even more beautiful then her clothes. She is a successful Russian photographer and TOTAL style icon! Must be nice!

Kind of obsessed with Alexa Chung, but then again, who isn't?

Her Aesthetic:

• Sweet and feminine wardrobe
• Rocker tees and vintage pieces mixed in
  
• Funky and edgy style
• Appropriate and rebellious at the same time
• Red lips
• Black liquid lined lids
  
• Chopped messy hair with bangs
  
• Random cross-body purses
• 'I don't give a sh**' attitude

So, I have some newly purchased red lip stain and some liquid liner I keep for weddings and special events. Now I just need her legs, and I have been working hard on that in the gym! I'm tired of looking like a mom, time to shake things up a bit. Alexa will be my inspiration. Stay tuned for some pics of my best impersonation.
