Looking Back

The house is clean, the decorations finished, my nails are painted................

Today was a lovely day, mostly spent just the two of us! All Carson can talk about is the party on Saturday. I think it will be a magical day for her!

Tomorrow I will run around town, finish this years photo album, work a little in her baby book, and cook. It's always good when you feel prepared before an event!

I thought it might be fun to look back at her first two parties. Her first Birthday: My first Fiesta, was a big event celebrated with lots of friends and family. Her second Birthday was just a week before we made the move to Atlanta, so it was a small lunch for just girls called: The Purple Party. This one promises to be the biggest success yet.

PS. Butter cream icing does not do well when you add a bottle of purple food coloring to it! The Purple cake was incredibly unattractive! Luckily, Carson loved it and insisted on blowing at the candles a second time after dinner! Lets hope the sprinkle cake stands up straighter on Saturday!
