T by Alexander Wang
Thursday, July 28, 2011
You know those days when you just can't bring yourself to put on a single piece of structured clothing? Your so busy around the house with the child and such, that at lunch time your realize your still wearing what you slept in? You get home from a morning of running around and can not wait to take off your blue jeans and put on something cozy?
Sadly my lazy day wardrobe is nothing like the images above. Mostly my drawers are full of overwashed, stretched out, cheaper versions of the above.
If only I could spend $100 dollars on cotton basics, then I would happily live in these tshirts and sweatpants. T by Alexander Wang is the diffusion line by the amazing CFDA designer. He launched it a few years ago including just basics, and progressively introduded more structured pieces and additional pieces to layer over the staple items. Resort 2012 includes color, but for me personally, I like the simplicity of the white, black, nude, and gray!
Anyone own one of these beauties? I would love to know if they are worth it, and reallly as amazing looking on as every magazine and blog claim?

I've got a simple t-shirt from Alexander Wang, which I've bought on sale last year – and I love it. I think it's a good investment :)
i would definitely buy any of those white t-shirts! i just love a white shirt with either my joe capri jeans or khaki shorts. it's practically my summer uniform.
you totally should lisa, i can imagine they would be great for traveling! everything i have read in the last few years claims that it is a toss up between The Row and Alexander Wang for best t shirt.
oh man, my lounging around clothes are HIDEOUS! unfortunately, i'm on more of an old navy budget and you know how long that stuff lasts...
yowza!
