HORSES ATELIER

Tuesday, August 27, 2013

Wouldn't it be dreamy to start a dress line that immediately gets favored by Vogue and becomes an instant classic?!

Introducing Horses Atelier, said line of magical frocks.

I was totally swept up in their moody lookbook shot on film by the talented Mark Peckmezian.  I love that there is no need for such literal images of the garments.  It is infinitely more romantic and cool to be whisked away into their whimsical world of beautiful dresses!

Effortless and interesting, eternal and modern, elegant and punk......the collection consists of variations of only 5 styles of "the dress."  Caftans, tunics, blousons, and summer slip dresses made in silks- a dress for any and every occasion.

Horses Atelier was started by Toronto based writer and playwright Claudia Dey, and culture commentator Heidi Sopinka.  Their inspiration board and media sites are loaded with IT girl propaganda.

Peek inside their notebook here.

Follow along here, here and here.  Shop the few dresses remaining from Spring/Summer here, or anxiously await new Fall arrivals with me.
