Where else can you find free poetry, a giant dressed as a peach, a duo of ukeleles, an education on eggs, and a young artist painting faces for free?

Our favorite way to spend a Saturday morning this summer.......a trip to a local farmers market.
This weekend, it was The Decatur Farmers Market.

Our bag was heavy heading home!

Shopping List included:

• a sack of Georgia Peaches
• a clever poem
  
• a carton of blueberries
• a bag of stone ground grits
• a jar of jalapeno pesto
• a couple of cucumbers
• 2 dozen fresh eggs
• a pineapple cilantro ice pop, to share

After a morning at the market, I spent the afternoon at a local beer festival......more pictures to come tmw. What did you do this weekend?

I had THE most amazing weekend! My Cuyler and Carson spoiled me so!

The first part of my Mothers Day present was some time to myself.......what every momma needs!

I spent Saturday morning wandering around The Sandy Springs Farmers Market, buying local goods, and taking a few pictures. I wanted to share.......

I got tons of greens, onions, pasta, bread, and a couple dozen eggs, YUM! I also picked up a couple of yummy smelling local soaps from Indigo Bath and Body and am feeling like I NEED a pair of feather bone earrings from Madeline Burdine Jewelry, so lovely!

After the Market, I headed to REV for several Chai Lattes and some reading in a cozy chair. It was a lovely Saturday morning!
