Such a fitting shop to find with festival season just beginning. Lovely things, all handmade and ethically produced!

'HANDCRAFTED Cleobellaʼs handbags are produced in Bali, Indonesia, where the styles emphasize the artistic skills and beauty of traditional craftsman techniques. All product is truly handmade. Patterns are designed, hand dyed, and embellished individually. All styles are detailed with hand tooling, beads, embroideries, studs and handmade lace. Cleobellaʼs exclusive process is the signature of our brand, paying attention to the small details, making each design a timeless work of art. *All left overs of our fabrics and leather are given to charities who support Balinese villages. COACHELLA

Tuesday, April 15, 2014

Boho beauties dripping in festival fare, frolicking about in wide open fields and dancing to incredible music.

I am so relieved I am not a jealous person!

Sunshine and good tunes and loads and loads of fashion…uggg…maybe one day.

Coachella is on my short list.  Until then, I will just admire from afar and find loads of inspiration for summer looks and festival style of my own.  Shaky Knees and Bonnarro are much closer to home.

Also, Poppy Delevinge sure is a lucky girl!

A bachelorette party in Palm Springs during the biggest music fest of the year, plus it's all sponsored by a pretty rad clothing line.  Dreamy!  Who else could pull off a leather moto jacket with a bikini?  Nobody.

It's probably gonna be lots of hippy dippy/rock and roll/boho/gyspet love on the blog all week long.  Just so you know.

Two summers ago I went to my first Roo.  While I was there I feared I might not survive.  Since I left, I have wanted to return.

Bonnaroo is a 4 day mulit-stage camping festival held on a 700-acre farm in Manchester Tennessee. It is not for the faint of heart folks.  If you can manage it though, it is an incredibly magical experience!  Not only is the music typically everything that you could possibly imagine wanting to see at one festival, but the seclusion of the farm creates a real sense of community.

Just after high school I went with a group of people to the Woodstock 99 show in upstate New York.  The experience blew my young and impressionable mind!  Ten years later, Bonnaroo topped it.  I hope to go again soon.

Maybe next year I will have new photos to post? (fingers crossed)

photos notes:

My Companions- my sweet sister Amy, my brother in law Steve, and my college roomie, the lovely Lexi Meece (one of the few people that could drive across country and live in a tent with me) Love you guys and sorry for the sweaty pictures!

Style shots- I think its funny that it is so insanely hot that people literally just don't wear clothes, and it is totally acceptable.  Bikini, boots and an umbrella.....done.
