SAINT

I love mixing feminine and masculine, romantic and utilitarian, old and new.

When I received my package from STYLE SAINT, I knew immediately how I wanted to put the look together.

For me, a pretty dress with pretty accessories and pretty hair...it's a little too obvious.  It's far more exciting to do something unexpected!

The Saint Augustine dress from STYLE SAINT is cut so well, I imagine it would be flattering on anyone.  My sky high Gucci heels from ages ago, lifted it just off the ground.  The Saint Society jacket is the perfect layering piece, soft and nipped slightly at the waist.  I had fun digging through my grandmothers jewels, by far the best drawer in my jewelry box, for something you would never put with a military jacket.  These oversized clip-ons were perfect!  A messy knot in my hair and of course an orange lip.  Done.

I think that this outfit would be perfect for a hipster wedding or maybe a date to some new foodie restaraunt for a date night.

Mary styled her STYLE SAINT jacket here, if you want to check it out.  Obviously I stole her gorgeous Phillip Lim clutch for the photos.  Can you blame me?

STYLE SAINT

In a perfect world I would own an extremely well curated and painfully edited closet that included only well made key pieces that I absolutely adored.  Enter Style Saint.

Style Saint is the first-ever collaborative apparel brand and  a go-to resource that is single handedly changing the way fashion is discovered, delivered and consumed.

The process:

Beginning with an incredibly fashion forward digital magazine, and a seemingly endless collection of inspiring tear sheets, creator Allison Beal compiled a wish list of must have pieces.  Using the same pattern makers, sample sewers and production team as The Row and Rag & Bone she is currently turning out her inaugural collection, Oceans Lost.

The difference:

Style Saint is  revolutionizing fast fashion and replacing disposable clothing with artisinally produced designs.  Water printed silks, mosaic drawn chiffon, brushed dupioni, crinkle satin, textured gauze.......styles are delivered to the online shop as they are completed, many in limited quantities.

The best part?

These handcrafted and locally produced pieces are sold directly from Style Saint and no other retailer.  This means that they are available at wholesale (translation:  half the price!)  The fit, the fabrics, the details.....all for less.

Skeptical?

Check it out for yourself here, here and here.  Follow along here and here.  Then, shop here.
